Teen Etiquettes

We have always wondered at the happenings and the events surrounding our lives. Our inquisitive minds have always made an effort to find the reason and cause of the worldly truths and we have always wondered at the reasons behind them.

If you are invited to dine at a friend's home or a restaurant, don't forget to take your best table manners along. Practicing good etiquettes at home will make your outings more enjoyable.

The host will tell you where to sit or you can ask before sitting down. Wait for others to start eating before attacking your food. In a family style meal, food is passed to the right. When food is passed to you, say "Thank you". Try a little of everything. Do not take big helpings of all the food. If you do not want something, just pass it down.

Do not put bones or anything on the table. Things that are not eaten should be kept on the plate.

Do not reach across the table or in front of someone to get something. As them to pass it to you. Meals are to be slow, pleasnt and leisurely. Enjoy your food but talk too. Wait for everyone to finish before leaving the table.

After the meal is over, say "Thank you."
